Snare Drum Kits, Parts and Lessons

Snare drum kits are in my opinion the best way to learn How To Play The Drums. Many beginner drummers want to sit behind the drum set and start playing. While that is certainly acceptable, you are better off learning the basic foundations of drumming by focusing your attention on the snare. You can learn more about the importance of starting your musical journey on the snare in the Beginner Drum Lessons. And for a more technical challenge, try this Snare Drum Music.

Below are a few of the top snare drum manufacturers and a link to more information. You'll find a huge variety in size and wraps, all of which I've tried to cover. So browse around and learn more about how to choose the right snare.
