Roland Electronic Drums

Roland electronic drums are one of the best known names in wired kits today. They have affordable entry level equipment and super-realistic high-end systems. The video below is a short clip from a larger DVD that explains some of the changes that these kits have gone through over the years. Also gives a short overview of the kit and module.

Of the electronic drum sets I have played, Roland is by far the superior brand. I love their mesh head trigger pads and their cloth kick pads. They offer quite a few different electronic drumsets. You can learn more about each one below.

Roland TD20

If you're interested in triggering your acoustic drum set, you might want to consider using one of Roland's drum modules. They are packed with quality samples and the higher end ones have some really cool editing features that let you control every last detail of the sample.

For electric drum accessories, check out Roland's line of single and dual zone electronic drum pads. You might also be interested in learning more about Roland amps for monitoring your electric drums.

Use a Roland Drum Machine for creating your own beats and backing tracks, or use it as a click track to play along to and improve your tempo. You'll also find percussion pads (pictured above) which are great for adding effects and samples to an acoustic drum set.

Roland also offers drum machine coaches which are fairly similar to the modules and drum machines, but they come loaded with exercises and rhythm games designed to help you improve your timing. Learn more about these Roland Electronic Drums.
