Incredible Bongo Band

The Incredible Bongo Band released a couple albums in the mid seventies. One in '73 called Bongo Rock, and another the following year called "The Return of..." Most of these songs were later re-released in cd format.

The "band" was more of a production project than an actual group of musicians. Michael Viner made use of the recording equipment and whatever musicians were available in the studio between session and thus the project was born. Click here for Incredible Bongo Band cd's and vinyl.

Bongo Rock

The first album the band produced was "Bongo Rock" which was probably most famous for it's cover of "Apache" and "Let There Be Drums".
