Flammed Mill
The Flammed Mill is a new addition to the Twenty Six Standard Snare Drum Rudiments. It's basically just a flam paradiddle, but the sticking pattern is different. Instead of the double stick appearing on the last two notes (RLRR), it is applied to the first two (RRLR). So, if you've mastered your paradiddles, then this one should be no problem. Below are a few exercises you can use in your rudimental practice. The pattern has been mixed between sixteenth and eighth notes, which will help you to develop limb control.
